Learn what to do if the Creative Cloud desktop app won't open or shows a spinning progress wheel. How to fix Creative Cloud desktop app when it won't open If the Creative Cloud desktop app won't open and displays any of the following messages, follow the instructions in the message. Creative Cloud is a collection of 20+ desktop and mobile apps and services for photography, design, video, web, UX, and more. Now you can take your ideas to new places with Photoshop on the iPad, draw and paint with Adobe Fresco, and design for 3D and AR. I cannot install CC on my Computer. I recently bought a student package with Photoshop and Lightroom. I can download the 'Creative Cloud Installer.dmg' program, but when I repeatedly double click to install, NOTHING happens. I have also tried to install Photoshop and Lightroom via Adobe.com as t. If that doesn't work for you, then another option would be to request/use the new 2020 direct download links instead, which don't use the Creative Cloud Desktop app at all. With those, you can download standalone installers which are industry-standard.exe/.dmg files on Windows/macOS. I just recently updated my OS to Catalina (and the recent update 10.15), and since then purchased a subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud suite. However, the installer for CC stops at 25% and won't go further.
